Unhappy How to charge the cells?

Hi! I just got my first mini-x from dinball

I'm so newbie that you can hit me in the head, but I just can't find out how to charge the 5 cells that came in it!...

They are in place, ready to go, but are attached together with some kind tape and have the connections soldered to each one of them...

I can see the two wires (red and black) that go from the cells to the left box (the ESC, maybe?). but there's no external connector.

Help, please... someone

hey bud... here are you choices, both of them you will need a charger like http://tinyrc.nexcess.net/shop/product.php?pid=456 that one that they sell here. you can probably find one at radioshack if you just tell them what you are usin it for but anyways. you can get a set of micro connectors that hpi rs4 micros use and wire one set to the battery, one to the esc (the box on the left) and one to the charger. that way when you need to recharge you can just plug it into the charger. or the charger will come with little squeeze clamp clips (i dont know what they are called) and you can just clamp them on to the proper end of the whole pack, not the individual cells. there are other ways too scattered throughout this forum

hope that helps

oh and if you dont have bearings you should get those as soon as you can!

Thnx, 3series.

Dinball offered the bearings
On my Overland I noticed more a longer lifetime of the cells than anything else.
Oh, and of course, the wheels spinning for 2 minutes after rolling over, LOL!

I wonder if I can connect one wire to each o + and - holes that exist in the esc and that lead to the ends of the battery package...

I would surely charge the cells, but is there any risk of burnig something on the ESC?

as long as you make sure the esc is off b4 you charge its should be all good. that is actually a great idea
