Who all has Gran Turismo 3?
Who all has Gran Turismo 3 and how far are you into it?
My first car was the cheapest Miata, Stage 1 turbo (S2 is a waste o money, only +10 or so horsepower) Racing Trans. Oil Change (increaces HP by at least 10 if you do it right when you get your car) Port polish and some other stuff
Second was the cheaper S2000, fully upgraded with everything
third its my Skyline GTR V-Spec, so far only Stage 4 turbo in it
Max Speeds (all at test track)
Miata--------------------185
S2000-------------------225
Skyline GTR V-Spec---180 (but will go lots faster with more upgrades)
Current liscense-A
Yes I know Im not that far in it but I only got it less than a week ago.

the oil change thing is strange
when u first buy a car, you have to "break it in" meaning youll have to run a couple laps on any track ...try to hit the max speed and then do some hard braking and what not...then change your oil.... the amount of HP resorted/gained varies from car to car depending on how much HP the car has... it seems that the more the hp the car has stock, the more u gain when u do this
i kinda stopped playing GT3 because part 4 is a coming *cant wait...
so far ive played every gran tourismo so far except for GTConcept

I got GT3! Awesome awesome game! Haven't played it in forever though. Too busy and too many other things to distract me. And sorry I don't really remember what cars I had all that well...I think I chose the old style RX-7 for my first car. Definitely gonna have to pick it back up again though...still need to learn how to drift in GT3...

wanna know how to get about 400 mph+? you buy a race car of some sort, go to max speed test at test course, and before you start, go to settings. go to the 2nd settings options. make the spring rate front and rear 4.0 kg, the ride height as low as it can go front and rear. next go to gear settings. choose the torque increase for the first 2 options to 60. then go to the gear ratios. on the bottom there will be a settings bar. it will most likely be 26-32. make it go as high as it can. then go to the lastof the 4 sections. THIS IS IMPORTANT! you need a car so that you can adjust downforce. make the front as low as it can go and the rear as high as it can go. make the ASM and TCS 0. then go on the test course backwards and you will start to do a wheelie. this is normal. your car's speed will fly!

i used to think that by having the fastest car for top speed was the best car around. now in some cases it it nice to have the fastest car but usually there isn't enought track for you to acheive that top speed so i usually tune for the fastest time in the 1000 meter track.

actually, there is enuff track. if you have the toyota GT1 or the R390 GT1 or the Escudo Pikes Peak its easy. you just have to hav all the upgrades and settings. once yu get to about 230 mph, your car does a wheelie. what cars do you have? what is your fastest 1000M time? mine is......lemme see *turns on PS2*......*loading*......*sim. mode*.......*1000M*....16.380 seconds in R390 GT1 on June 6th, 2003

yeah it does get kinda boring, especially in the begining of the games when you dont have many licences and the such, I havent played it for about a week, since I rented Rumble Racing anyway. Oh and BTW, does anyone know when GT4 is coming out? Cant wait to see grapics on that, and hopefully they will have Ferrari's, Porshe's, Lamborghini's, etc.
