Around the house stuff = Oven cleaner or nail polish/cuticle remover.
Becarefull with the cuticle remover it may harm the plastic. Try using q-tips(cotton swabs) and gently rub the paint off with the remover.

thanks anyway, i found sumthing that works real good. i was gonna use nail polish remover on a q tip but my dad thought it would wreck the body. then he found a couple things in our workshop that might work, i tried them and the thing that works best is called "denatured alchohal". i used a rag on it and afterwords sanded it with 600 grit sandpaper. it worked really good and id reccomend it to anybody. The body putty is in better condition that it was before (smoother).
*EDIT* here is what i mean if u dont understand.

Glad it all worked out. There are many solvents that can remove paint, I just thought you were asking for something that might be readily found around the house. Becarefull with the denatured alcohol though, it can make the plastic crack. It's okay for spot removal but I wouldn't recomend it for stripping the whole car.
