Pro: extra speed?

I went down to my local hobbyshop and my dealer said he tried those kinda new microsizer pros, with their turbo button and all, and he said that with the same motor on a car controlled by a single speed, it's no faster. Does the 2 speed controller slow it down until you press the turbo button?

without the turbo button held it it limits current to the motor...its basicly used for racing, you let go of teh turbo for turns so u dont spin and u hold it in for straights...but they dont have more speed

Yep! They should've probably called it something besides "booster", because it's not boosted so to say. It's just 2 speed.

The good thing though, is that they are on a different freq as other cars. So you can run a 45mhz regular with a 45mhz booster without interference.

well, then why does my car scream ultimate speed when i hit turbo. it goes a lot faster than normal speed.

when you say normal speed, do you mean unboosted?
These people are comparing it to the top speed of a one speed car
