Battery Mod

I'm interested in replacing the stock battery in my Microsizers. If I use a 100 or 200 or whatever battery (and I'm not doing a duel/tri cell) will I have to make any modifications to the controller to recharge my car?

Will it work just by putting the car on the controller longer/multiple times?

Thanks in advance,
Toben

GHi

Yep, just get yourself a +120 mah NiMH battery, drop it in, use your standard charger and give it 3 to 5 charges and away you go. You should get 30 mins from a 120mah.

Cheers

If I charge mine 7-9 times I'll get roughly 45 minutes of run time.

Actually, the stock Ni-cad battery gives a runtime of 45 minutes of fully charged. And that is only at 50 mah. So, multiply that by 2 for a 100mah battery and that is 1.5 hours, and multiply again by 2 to get 3 hours straight for a peak charged 200mah batery. Amazing, isn't it?

How do you get 45 mins out of a Nicd? do you use a special (proper) charger.

Cheers
