sorta interesting

I see alot of people on here that only have zipzaps, ms, or clones that come from america....last year i thought i was having so much fun with a zip zap untill my lil brother drove it off our counter top and it shattered. well that was when i decided to get a couple cars from japan, i didn't order any bitchar-g's cuz i bought two lxx's and many parts including 3.8 motors and gears and tires, for the price of one bitchar-g at the time. i think you dont realize how fun the hobby actually is untill you get an original from japan. america copied the cars from japan because they realiezed how big it was over there and people still buy them from over there. its just untill you buy the first car from japan is when you realize how fun it actually is, well atleast i did. i thought that when my zip broke i was gonna be done with the hobby but i bought the lxx's and now when i get money i lose money because it all go's towards these cars. i think that everyone should atleast buy one car from japan to see how similar they are to the american cars but how different they are form the american cars. thats just my opinion.

I'm gonna get an LXX type R and a perfection 4.2 motor for it from Japan. (toyeast.com)

And something to add onto what you said, Japanese cars are allowed to be on more frequencys-

27
35
40
45
49
57mHZ

unlike American cars

27
49mHZ

Japan Frequencies = 27-35-45-57
USA = 27-49
EU, AUS = 27-40

yea but you would think that if all american cars have to get fcc approved and these cars are sold in american stores, why shouldn't they???

Technically toys don't need FCC approval. That's why you can buy shens and other clones with more frequencies than the MS or ZZ.

Well, I got a 45 mhz Rally Racer from the KB-toys center and I had a 49 mhz ZZ mazda RX-8, and I could control one car with the other remote.......so if you have a 49 or 46 mhz signal, it won't be too different, it'll STILL have interference if the frequencies have SMALL difference.

i think some of the clones just have really strong signals because my cousin could control his brothers when close with a 27 and the other being a 35
