dammit that sounds gross anyways wuts the best way to get ur bit quiet? my friend tried wd40 and i laughed my ass off after i told him not to do it and all dust and crap got stuck to it
If you wanna be unorthidox, though I DON'T recommend it, try powder. Someone mentioned they threw some powder down on a hardwood floor to accentuate Drifting...A unexpected result was that it made his car run whisper quiet.
Powder, unlike any form of grease or luuuuuube ain't gonna attract dirt/debris either...Again, I don't recommend it, but I did see that someone mentioned getting good results.
Personally though, I LIKE the noise they make! It's SEXY!
hi i had this idea to stick my 2.2 motor to a 3 volts of power for 5 seconds and that cleaned out all the dust and junk inside of it i guess because now the motor runs like a 3.0 although this worked for me I DONT THINK YOU SHOULD TRY THIS BECAUSE I DONT WANT IT TO SCREW UP YOUR MOTOR THIS WAS MY OWN MOTOR AND I DONT WANT TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYONES PROPERTY but the motor has ran well for 24 hours now
but still i only advice you do this if you dont care aobut waht will happen to your motor

If you play any wind instrument, then you probably know what this is.
This is a valve oil to keep the valve lubed up for easy pressing. Also, if this is used on any moving parts (i.e. RC cars) it works great. Dust doesn't stick on to it cuz it evaporates leaving only the smooth stuff. I've used this on my Mini-Z ball bearings and it's really good to use.
Oh, BTW, it soaks into the metal to keep it lubed up longer...
I finally got my computer fixed. You guys probably thought that I left, but my cable modem got fried by lightning. I'm back.
Namuna, That was my little GLORIA that I started the thread about it being like a church mouse. I used baby powder. Not only did it quiet my car up, but it doesn't get diaper rash anymore....lol
Dry graphite lubricant works best. I used to use the stuff for pinewood derby cars; you can find it at many hobby shops. It doesn't attract dirt like greases or oils, and you can use it for lots of things (rear axle, gears, suspension..)
The funny thing is that I've seen baby powder recommended on several web sites in case you can't find dry graphite lube. Looks like you ran across a good thing by accident
