gears wont mesh properly
every now and then the pinion gear and idler gear on my lxx booster locks up and i have to manually spin it to get it to start working again. how can i fix this???
edit
also when it is running why does putting the body on make it stop?? i cant see where it would be making contact with any moviing parts

had the same problem
one solution was the motor position didnt make the pinion gear mesh good with the idler gear. a shim fixed that problem
another time it was just crappy gears.
and about the shells, hmmmm.....what shell are you using, alot of my supra shells are tight around the wheels.....

if you have had the lxx for a while like a month and modded it the chances are that it is just worn. I had one and replaced the gears with microsizer gears at toys r us. also try using a more powerful motor

brand new outa the box but still good call on the crapy gears. couple of the teeth were a bit lop-sided so i replaced it and runs great now. and yes i am using a supra body. also i am using the yellow zz motor(decent unboosted, prety crazy boosted).
