Micro sizers?

Do microsizers have the crippling cap thingy in the controller?

I looked for a crip cap, and sure enough there is was on the car's board. There isn't one in the controller, though.

Is there a way to get it off the cars board

yep. It's been stated time and time again, but i'll repeat it. The way to take off the crippler from the board is to use a soldering iron to melt the solder and use soldering wick to teke off all the solder around the capacitor. Then, just snip off the capacitor.
