20 second charge
MY car is messed up it would only charge for 20 seconds and then the light will turn off so when i race it it would run for about a min then just die befor i had problems with my charger it wouldent turn on can someone please help

Do you recharge the car often, even though the battery isn't fully discharged?
This sounds like it may be something with the car battery.

dinkywinky, when was the last time you replaced your charger batteries? Try that first.

tinyrc i replaced them yesterday and i have two car batteries i tried them both it still didnt work

Do you or a friend have another transmitter you can try? Does the car work if you control it while it's on the charger and the light is on?

i have a friend at school ill try his and yes my car does run when its on the controller

QFM will be selling an upgrade component to extend your default controller charge time to 90 seconds, as 45 seconds usually doesnt charge the stock battery to full capacity. It should be available in less than 2 wks. (requires soldering).

may not really deal with this but...
does anyone else have a booster control? when ever i turn my booster control on the charge light comes on, then after a regular charge would be finished the light turns off. anybody else's do this?

i found the problem one of the wires were loose in the charger and so sometimes it would work and sometimes it wont its back to normal now

My booster controller has been doing the same thing. I have nimh batteries, so usually charge my cars twice before running them, and have noticed that if i take the car off when its not timed out then the light stays on when the car isnt on the charger, where before it would turn off as soon as the car is pulled off.
