the only people on this board that i know have nice cars worth mentioning are tinyrc, with his MR2 Spyder, and bluemax_1, 600+ hp VR-4...
im too embarrased to post my ride up on forums. it gets laughed at

I have the world's first civic to have a REAL exhaust system, with a muffler actually designed for a car and not a motorcycle!

hey pie i totally agree with u
i h8 it that people think that any person can go out and buy a nissan skyline gt-r r34 and kit it the best with now and be an amazing driver. for instance 2 fast 2 furious just brings it out that its simple to street race and u can race anytime. wrong
i have a few m8s hu street race and most of them have given up they would rather show thier cars off because now people buy an amazing car kti it up and they r crap drivers and if u race with them u have a death wish as they will probably be dangerous drivers.
but i wish i could see tinys car.

Actually, you could by a GT-R and drag it, all you have to do is floor it and drop the clutch, then let the AWD do all the work . And i just don't get this whole "import street race" thing. Every night before i go to bed, i hear those fart-cannon cars revving up to 10,000 and peeling out near my subdivision. Why don't they just pay the $15 to race at our local dragstrip? Most of the drivers there run high 14's in automatic american cars anyway

yeah i do street race in a mid sized SUV.....since it aint straightaways we got where i live i make up for my lack of top speed in conering....i've gone up against an Honda Integra XSI, a CRV, a toyota levin, a Honda prelude,a newer rav with light mods(Greddy Exhaust & intake, coil overs, wider rims, and headers)...
i had a lead on the integra most of the time but he passed me on the final straight....i killed the CRV...i killed the Prelude...i killed the levin...and the other rav killed me....i haven't done anything to my jeep yet...only ICE for now....i'm saving for a 3S-GTE swap in...to make an ultimate sleeper rav4....looks stock and sounds stock until i hit the gas and u hear the blow off valve

my dad owns a toyota soarer special edition
its quite good very fast but eats petrol so fast.
one time we were infront of everybody at the traffic lights and i asked him does the car go sast so he said watch. ornage light went and vroooooom the car has amazing torque and it jus flew off 60mph in about 5s seconds. thats good isnt it.
but now hes selling the car he says that it costs him too much for petrol.

Well i didn't mean jeep as in the car company...where i'm from we refer to SUV's as Jeeps...and i know wat i'm talkin bout....
so let me rephrase it...i wanna build a sleeper SUV by swappin in a 3S-GTE from a celica GT4 into it...
and as for the skylines having to add all that money....thank god i live in the caribbean...all we pay when we import a skyline is the duty, the registration and insurance, and if its older dan 5 years we pay environmental tax...and dats it...cause like my friend got his R33 for about $8000 USD...he has a white R33 GTS-T....
check out my website http://www.onlydominican.com go to the family day 2003 show and u'll see him doin a few doughnuts in the video along with a JDM 300ZX, a kawasaki Ninja....

**sigh** street racing eh?
couple things.... soarer's arent all that fast. they're around the 6-7 second range 0-60. they got a bit of difficulty gettin up there cuzza their weight.. but hell, it's faster than what i drive . i cant believe you guys sold it tho... it's such a sweet car!
scientist, you seem to know what you're talkin about... not a lot of people would know that engine, and know it's potential at the same time. if im not wrong, we're getting into JGTC territory.. =). only issue i see is mating the tranny and the engine... and im REALLY interested in how you took the prelude.. 200 hp dun come slow... and that thing pulls harder than DC2s..
and you lucky bastards... R33 for only 8 grand? nice.. GTS-T's not quite the beast the GT-Rs are.. but still, best BNR chassis ever made.
and i think all of you should stop for a sec and think about the safety issues. most of you wont care, but it's not that great an idea to be pushing any car that's not made for it, especially if you dont know the limits of both the car and yourself.
on top of that.. any foo can go fast in a straight line. most of you drive automatics (assumption), so there's not much skill but flooring it. building a fast car isnt simply about engine swaps and beefing up the turbo. it's in the suspension, it's in the wheels, it's in the chassis... take a look at the japanese tuners

You'd be suprised as to how simple this swap is goin to be...i can either use my rav4 tranny which is a direct bolt on or i can use the tranny off the celica.....i talked about the swap as my MAJOR upgrade....suspension and wheels are a top priority there too...i wanna get some tien coil overs and shocks and give a 1 1/2 inch drop with some wider wheels....i also intend to put a lil bit of looks via the bomex rav4 body kit....and do a lil lightening up of the car and some bucket seats....but then my dad would have gotten me my evo b4 i start all dat but it would be nice tweaking with the rav4.....
i beat that prelude because the guy was diving into the brakes a lil too much into the turns and i knew which was the best place to pass him...
oh yeah FYI....soara's aint slow....there are 2 of em in the car club i'm in and they are really tuff competitors....they can keep up with the mildy modded supra we have....my friends soara now has a APEXi SFAC, Greedy Profec B boost controller, HKS FCD, HKS BCD, and a chip to take off the speed limiter...he also has coil overs and some 17x9 and 17x10 in the rear......and his soara definitely aint slow running on stock boost

lucky... ur dad buys ur cars eh?
evo? what evo? take the evo man... screw the rav4.. you're likely going to hit a wall with cornering performance in the case of the rav4 anyway... SUV's simply arent made for the corners.. even with those COs...
and chill out man, i didnt say soarers were slow... but for the money, there's a lot of built up cars that beat it out in every way, 'cept in luxury.. as i said, 6 or 7 second 0-60 stock, matches up with DC2s, WRXs.. S2000s... IS300s.. you kno?
good draggers, but supras arent really impressive handlers... they carry a lot of extra weight, partially from the engine, but other than that im not quite sure why. im naturally assuming the supra you're talking about is the TT one.. american version, or japanese capped one?
