Hmm is it just me or anyone else have this?

i've noticed that the first generation bits can use the 7 tooth pinion gear (the white one lol). i've noticed that bits which operate on the old controller can use it while the new ones cannot. to tell if yours is old or new, look at the charging station. the old charging station is kinda grey see thru and matches the grey see thru on the controller. however, the new ones have charging stations like clones. i.e. they are jet black. has anyone else noticed this? cuz my friend who had an old one can use a 7 tooth while i couldnt on a new one. i was pissed off for so long until i put the 7 tooth into my old one and to my surprise it worked. btw i used the initial d set and he had the honda accord wagon. it seems to me like the old ones have wider chassis while the new ones have narrower ones which is why the old charging station is wider.

i thought it depended on the motor... in my new gen (supra) it pushes more juice to the motor, so i thought i'd stick it with the tallest ratio... white pinion and teal gears... (no KIT gears, i hate the wheels)

the hting is... the 7 wont fit in my new evo, but it fits in my AM set and my old celica.

it might be the chassis, but IMHO it's more the motor. in my supra it meshes way too tight, unless i turn my 3.2 into one position, then it meshes quiet as hell...

i think a 7 will work in any bit, with a little work...

its chassi asll bits arew not made equal like me and my cousin got ms sports i got pissed cause it couldnt run all these fat gear ratios like kitt races car the way my chassi was the gears rubed then his brother got one and i tried kitt racer gears and regular gears with 7T pinion and it worked not all bits are created the same thats all but try zip zap gears they work with 7T on a bit
