How do i make my car go straight.

I have a 3.6v zip with springs and i cant get it to steer straight. I have the thing in the bottom all the way to the right, but it still goes way left. is there anywhay to fix this problem?

I have found in my cars that the steering adjustment on the bottom works the other way around. Meaning if you change it to the left, the car goes right. If you adjust it to the way it is spinning, it will go straight.

There are no metal objects attacted to it. Also, the steering thing is the correct way. It just doesnt seem to go straight. Also, it will take a very sharp right turn, but an extremely wide left turn.

Check your spring height.
One of mine went wonky like that, and when I cut the springs down by 1 coil each, it was fine.

Check if your coils are glued properly. Take off the boddy and look through the clear steering cover (that's one good thing about ZZ's the clear cover ) and check to see if anything stands in the way. Perhaps there is some plastic on the steering mechanism that hits the coil before it touches..... if that's the case shave it down a bit!

Or perhaps you could do a rare earth magnet upgrade... Look at the magnets they have at RadioShack, and they should sell them. (That's right, my RS sells the rare earth magnets at the exact size of a ZZ magnet!!! It improved steering!)

Check to make sure that one of the wheels on the rear axle isn't spinning. If so, super glue it in place.
