HELP ME!!! I blew up my car :(:(:(:(:(

HELP ME, i made a set of underbody neons for my mini z and while putting my car together i shorted the power against the aerial, which made smoke pour out of my car. I opened the car and found tha the little chip capacitor on the circuit board connected to the antenna wire had fizzled. The car still works fine, which rules out blown transistors, but the range has decreased from 100+ metres to about 3 metres .

I looked for a code on the little capacitor thing,but it was fizzled and fried and im not sure if it had a code to begin with.
If anybody knows the part or can test the capacitance please help me!!!!

go to minizracer.com and rlook for draconious's thread about using alternate anttena points on the pcb. this may fix your problem

haha. that's funny. You must have shorted out the reciever. glad it works, though.
