people on the RCmod forums were saying they beat a Perfection 3.8, but i was skeptical. so, i ordered a Perfection 3.8 from toyeast waited and one arrived. i raced the Perfection and the Phast Motors together. here's what i got.

race 1
car A - Perfection 3.8
car B - Phast Motors
-------------------------
winner - Phast Motors

race 2
car A - Phast Motors
car B - Perfection 3.8
-------------------------
winner - Phast Motors

enough said. test it yourself but that was the official ruling at my house. i tested 2 cars by racing and then switching the motors and then racing again. i ran them 17 1/2 feet on a vinyl tile floor. Phast Motors won by a good 15-20 inches on both races!
