New Epoch owner
The cars arent bad, carpet really slows them down, luckily I mainly use it in my living room though, which is all hardwood.
The car is a bit noisy, but I feel its just the tires, and I just threw a set of foam tires + black subaru rims onto the car, so I'll get a verdict after that 
If anybody wants to see a video of my car run (stock spec 2 for now, 4 cell mod soon). I can get a video, my digi cam makes it easy. I've got a video of my jumping it from my hardwood floored hallway to the carpet in my doorway to my room, but it's a little dark, heh.

man i've been thinkin of gettin one of these as a summer car to play with but haven't quite gotten as far yet as to which one i want

completely box stock, this is very short, me jumping the carpet lip

box stock except for the addition of black rims and foam tires, some driving in my garage which is polished concrete, I can't make the car slide indoors on hardwood anymore with these tires, but in the garage it's still pretty slick...
I drove it for a little bit on my driveway too, the rear end chatters a lot when I turn...
I don't think I'll be keeping this car for very long, if a 4 cell mod doesn't make this thing quick enough for me, it'll be for sale soon

I think the problem is between the keyboard and your seat
they are standard avi videos with zero compression, try playing with windows media player...
