Will there be a beetle?

I know all of you have said that the ZZ Beetle doesn't exist, but it may. Here's why: RS has a product number and everything for it. Here's where it's at: Beetle. The interesting thing is that it says it can be bought at 1-800-THE-SHACK. Anyone willing to try it out? You guys might not want the Beetle anymore because there is a BCG one, but news is news.

I really don't want another beetle, but I'm sure someone will. That product number looks like the older cars pro number, this page could just be a remnant left in the website.

That is the old Beelte that we never got to see and may never see. In our system at work it is a discontinued item number.

The car was never approved. Here's the pic. Volswagon didn't like the design and refused to let RS release them.

Stridex - are those from the key pics? If so, could you post them separately and any other you may have. I am trying to settle a dispute and the arhument is that these pics are doctored. Thanks.

This picture is doctored to merge the two cars together, but these were listed on RadioShack.com for quite some time. You had to type in the order number to find them.

These are the real deal or should I say were the real deal.

i think the roof is a little low on these beetles, that and the stretched wheel wells look messed up and probably the reason why VW asked RS to drop it

I don't think those VW beetles look so bad... In fact, I think they look even better than the Porsche shells.
