Of coure, the first thing I scanned was my gearset (doesn't everybody?). This is what it looked like. I used the Magic Wand to select the background and then rendered difference clouds.

u notice that the simple things amaze people that don't understand how easy it usually is. i'm guessing that probably took about 10min max rite from begining (scannin) to end (final save).

.It's so simple to be wise. Just think of something stupid to say and

If I'm the person who is " amazed " ,..let me assure you I'm not.
It'll take a little more than adding a background to a picture to do that . I usually use Photosuite ,. and am now trying Photoshop .
Just trying to get info .

nope not saying u specifically it's just something i've noticed with stuff i've done it's like people are giving u all this praise about how cool it looks and all u did was put on a couple of filters and it only took about 20 min and u almost feel like u should have done more to deserve the amazement u are geting. and i said the simple things amaze people that don't understand how easy it usually is. u obviously know how simple it is right so this doesn't apply to u

Post That's why I like it!

Photoshop makes everything easier. You can save hours doing repetative tasks (ie. editing a hundred frames of your animated avatar) with macros.

Yeah, sub 10 minutes.

Okay, I'm not an artist, but it's a lot better than Paint! (pbrush.exe for those of you who remember win3.1.) C'mon everybody, post some pics! What's a Photoshop thread w/o pics?
