This beauty is an origional 1980 Dukes of Hazzard General Lee wrist racer car body that has been tooled to fit onto the chassis of the RC Z-car. The body was very carefully carved and lightened to create a strong internal fit that would preserve the look of the toy without having any of the chassis pokeing out while allowing full wheel clearance & function. The antenna is routed out the back much like the origional General Lee and the back wheels have been modified to accept and are fitted with smaller Zip Zap tires. The origional steering magnet has been replaced with a rare earth magnet & the stock motor has been replaced with with a turbo motor. The dummy wind up knob preserves the classic look and charm of the origional but easily screws off. Of course the Z-Car is compatible with Zip Zap/Microsizer parts. The range on these cars is the best I've ever seen. The only drawback is that the lid on the remote control/storage unit will not fully close when the Dukes body is on as it is too high to allow clearance.
