2 cells,,, 2 motors too!
Hi folks,,
I had a bunch of crappy Z car clones that had hardwired motors in them,,,
I found a use for them!
The motors are wired in series,, when they were wired in parallel,, the PCB didn't deliver enough juice for both motors.
It seems to run fine on my semi thick carpet.

one more pic,,
The 2 motors are glued together,, then positioned in the chassis,, then glued in place.

question how did u get both motors to function right? what do you mean by in series? i kno what in series means (positive to negative negative to positive etc). can u x-plain? and why are there 2 wires i thought all u had to do is solder a wire on the back of one motor and then solder the other end to the back of ur second motor? and how do u make both motors make contact with those 2 tabs on the bottom of the chassis where your motor fits?? those things that are shaped like this on a side point view RIGHT TAB= /_ =left tab

Hi Peeps,,
Calsonic_racer,,,
My 2 motors are hard wired,, that means they don't need the motor contacts that are normally in the body. I removed the original motor contacts and soldered the motor wires directly to the PCB.
Each motor has 2 wires,, + and -- . Originally I had the 2 motors wired up in parallel but found out the PCB didn't "flow" enough juice to make the car start from a standing stop. After rewireing the motors,, I find the car takes off from dead stop much better.
I am currently doing incline testing,,,

u should try puttin gears on both sides of the axle, and car... flip 1 motor so they run diff. gears instead of just 1... that would have more torque ( IMO )...try it make a new MOD the dual cell / dual TORQUE...

Hmmm... I don't exactly what you mean by that. Do you mean to take the motors and have then in the 69 type position, and running gears on each side?
