Charger Help
Can some one plz give me plans on how to make a charger for a 2 celled bit.
I do the multi-charging with my controller but it just isnt good.
So plz help me out with this. I would be greatfull.

I made a charger for my dual cell car out of 3 batterys, and the charge pad off of the controller.

I just bought a 4 AA Cell Holder
Wich has in an inbuilt swich

I just use a 9V battery, with a 9V connector (you can get at radio shack) Soldered onto the charging pad. If you want, i'll get some pics tommorow

ur damn crazy that power is used when charged theres no need for the battery in the car im surprised your car even survievs it damn

thx for all your help
i made one but it dosent have a light on it. Is it bad to leave them on too long?? Will it never stop chargeing and then blow up or something?
Also it runs alot faster now thx

lol... lets just say.. if you leave them on charg for too long, when you come back its just a smoldering pile. YES they do melt. I learnt the hard way and thats 1 reason i have a light

I just made up a charger last night for my dual battery bit, using a Radio Shack 4AA box and the Bit charging contacts from a controller. The charger sure was a whole lot easier to make than doing the dual bat mod!!! Anyways, I definitely see the importance of the light on the charger. Will any old LED do, and where would it go in the circuit?

Here's the bottom line boys and girls...
You use alkaline batteries, unregulated to charge the batteries in the cars and you're basically way overcooking the little things.
Car batteries are cheap, so if you don't care that you're shortening the lifespan of the car battery, then no big deal. But you also run the risk of MELTING the batteries if not careful.
I suggest getting a universal AC Adapter and use that (the ones with the adjustable voltage). They're regulated for current and voltage and you don't have to waste money on batteries.

is it killing a duel cell running 3v to charge it with AA's i mean look at the canonball clones the run a 100mah 1.2v nihm and there charger throws 4.5v at them i use that to charge my duel cells
