Well, it all started with a random purchase at a computer show two weeks ago. I picked up a Panther Lancer Evol (red and white) and just had to much fun with it. I now have a Z-car Blue Mazda with 2.6 motor upgrade, a Shen Qi Wei Nissan Skyline (purple and yellow - stock 2.6m) and am waiting for my Lxx Special Castrol Edition Skyline, P-digi Deset Storm Hummer Jeep, 2x 3.8 motors, and 2x 160nmh batteries which should be at my door by Friday. I ordered that stuff from
www.mini-rc-car-sales.com, is that a good place? Seemed to be the most professional looking and well stocked outfit I could find with google.

little crazy. Oh well! These little cars are too cool! I was always an RC nut back in my teens, but this is like all of my favorite Matchbox cars "come to life". heh! I plan on putting one of my 3.8 motors with a 160nmh batt in the LXX Skyline and then the other motor/batt set in my Panther Lancer Evol. I think I will then take the 3.0 motor from the LXX and put that into the Hummer!
I've played around with the front suspension a little and used some tiny Cat5e ethernet wire (solid copper core) to tighten things up, because it seemed very loose at first. Seems to have added a level of control to the streering which it lacked before.
I guess I should poke around the forum a bit and see what's good to do to these cars. Well, just wanted to say "hi". Cheers!
EDIT: Whoops. The Shen is a WRX (purple and yellow), not a Skyline. doh!
So, where can I get the cool wheels and stuff?
