Question Where can I find a 40mhz bit?

Folks,

I know that 40mhz Bits are sold in Australia (perhaps the UK?) but is there an online retailer that sells this animal?

Thanks.

Yeah, well, Hog, I have looked around and I have found H1 Hummers that have a 40Mhz frequency, but I was looking for a Bit Char-g.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

If it HAS TO BE a real Tomy Bit Char-G 40MHz product...Then you'll have to deal with get it from Oz or UK.

Hog's suggestion is cheaper and probably easier (rather than dealing with finding a retailer that has them)

I saw some 40MHz clones at a gas station somewhere on my never-ending car trip from NY to NC. They were called Eagle Super Mini Racers, I think. They come in a globe just like Char-A. 40MHz was the only frequency they had (maybe just because there was only two left).

You could try these guys
https://action-pact.co.uk/acatalog/compact_char-g.html

Their shop is out of stock of compact char-g but if you contact them they might be able to pick one up for ya. I still think it best if you go with a clone.

Thanks to all of you for the input (especially Hog who replied first). I bought a 40MHZ H1 Hummer (from www.Bitmod1.com) and will do a PCB swap. After my futile search for a Bit-Charg and seeing the UK pound and AU$ conversion with shipping, I would be foolish to go that route. I was just being hardheaded.

Again, thanks to all for the advice.
