Plz Help B4 I Go Crazy!!!!!
THIS IS REALLY MAKING ME MAD!!! I CANT FIGURE THIS DUAL MOTOR CR@P!!! I QUIT LIKE A FEW DAYS AGO AND EASILY DID A DUAL CELL AND NOW IM BACK TO THE DUAL MOTORS BUT I JUSS CANT UNDERSTAND IT. TO MAKE THE MOTORS GO YOU NEED TO PUT A PIECE OF METAL ON THE BACK OF BOTH MOTORS RIGHT? I DID THAT AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK. OH YEA DO U NEED TO WRAP BOTH MOTORS IN METAL? I ALSO NOTICED THERE WERE 2 METAL TABS BELOW THE MOTOR SHOWN LIKE THIS IN A SIDE VIEW /_ THE / IS ON THE LEFT AND THE _ IS ON THE RIGHT. DO I HAVE TO CUT A PIECE OF METAL THAT TOUCH BOTH TABS AND BOTH MOTORS? PLZ POST B4 I GO NUTS. CUD U ALSO PLZ POST AN EASIER TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ON THE LAST STEPS TO GET BOTH MOTORS WORKING? THX THIS WUD REALLY HELP. (srry for caps im going crazy)

Okay, here's what I did, and I believe it's the easiest way.
I sanded down the chassis toward the back of the heat sink and then I slotted out the back of the heat sink between the hooks and set the new motor in the slot. I soldered the new motor to the heat sink. (now you have your positive juice) Make sure you line up the pinion with the transfer gear properly before you solder.
Next, I just soldered a tiny wire from the end ball on the new motor to the negative wire of the orig. motor. The negative wire is the one that attaches to the piece of metal that contacts the end of the motor.
Now you have a VERY clean added motor and no goofie piece of metal to deal with.

thx for the info but is there a way to do it w/o soldering a motor to the chassis? i mean i still want to switch off between single and dual motor so i dont exactly want to solder a a perfectly good perfection 3.8 cuz my soldering skills isnt what you would call "expertise". lol thx
