Does anybody know if MicroSizer Pros have cripple caps? I took a look inside the controller and didn't see one, but it could be hiding on the other side of the board.

My Pro (27MHz) also has a very short range. Much shorter than my other 27MHz clones, and no cripple cap in sight!!! I think I’ll have to look into a controller antenna mod. I brought home some cat5 wire from work, and made a new car antenna, but it did absolutely nothing to help the range. All it did was make the car hang up on the antenna when driving under the futon in the family room. That totally messed up my obstacle course.

The short range is the only downside I see to the Pro though. I love everything else about the car. It is one smooooooooooth ride compared to my clones. The turning is also perfect, both left and right, from forward and reverse. The steering is what most impresses me about my Micosizer. None of that floppy wheel stuff. The only micro R/C I have that comes close to the Microsizer in steering is my H1 Hummer. My Hummer rocks.
