Why did you take the casing off of the battery? Not that I am complaining, but why? It could short circuit it somewhere if you are not careful....

ohhh good point

I took the casing off the battery because it was soooooo thick and it would have been harder to get the batteries in

so i took the casing off and put some clear thin sticky tape over the battery. which made it just that little bit easier to get them in

Oh, ok, I understand. It's a good thing you put the tape on! I would have never thought of that

im all about functionality before looks.

stock covers are a pain to service so they get thrown out.

Totaly with ya there on the whole 'function before looks' deal. When I build with my legos, I don't give a dam what it looks like, as long as it works the way I intended it to.

Nice work!

I think it's so cool getting two "full size" cells inside the body. Woo-hoo! Now if somebody could fit in three, I would go for it. Until then, I'll do the Layman's. Woo-hoo! again.

You know, they do make a 1/4 AAA cell. I bet you could get 3 of those in the belly. They are like 70mah.

I haven't seen them in person, but I hear that you can find them online here and there.

Try that.
