So what exactly would putting neodymium magents in the motor can do? I also read somewhere that if you want to run an 8-cell on the mini-x you need to put Neo magnets in. I know the Neo magnets are much stronger than the standard magnets but what would be the ntoiceable improvements in putting in the stronger magnets and why are they needed to be able to run 8-cells?
cant tell you why you would need neo mags to run 8 cells except for temperature. the neo mags give the motor way more torque which means you can get up to your top speed faster and you have more power in you turns. and the miniz neo mags work (thats what i am using) they are the same class of motors so all the mods that work on z motors work on x motors even the ballbearing cans. hope that is some help.
