can these be configured to go straight instead of a loop? like a quarter mile straightaway?

yes, but you might need more that one set to get the length you are looking for. I am going to toysrus today, I'll see if the box lists the track length and report back.

instead of the kit track.. just buy regular hot wheels track. you shold be able to buy long sections of it at toys-rus. its cheaper! only 88 cents for a 2.5 foot section.

well hothweels track was our first guess but i figured the bitracer stuff might fit better.
has anyone ran a bit in hothweels track?

yah the kit racer tracks only have a couple of feet of straight a way and i havent seen them in ant store for over a month

Using a hot wheels track woun't be fun. May as well just get a bit racer since there way faster. If I were you I'd get some lil road pieces (I think you can print them out in printmaster gold 7)

I put my Microsizer on a Hot wheels track for tests. I got it do a loop on it. It is pretty cool and you odn't have to press the turn buttons. I'll have to try to put it on the motorized power loop. Dual cell+3.8+motor on hot wheels track= super fast and super fun loop.
