maybe xmen licenscing is cheaper than getting licensing from a auto manufacturer to reproduce a car. radio shack might be saving some money using the xmen line.

According to the docs, many major car makers have teamed up with RS so that accurate reproductions can be used.

I know this X-Men RX-8 is highly detailed, more than I've seen on other bodies to date.

Hey, what's up with the "rare earth magnets" you use? Are they a more powerful steering magnet? If so, why do you need them, especially in a multi-cell car. In my 3 cell Zap, I have 3 steering springs stacked up so my car doesn't turn quite so quickly. It still turns VERY sharp and quick, but why would you need more magnet? My Zap has a booster PCB in it as well, and flat out w/o the boost, I have to be careful not to roll it. I MUST take off the boost to turn.

Can't wait to see what you do with it. Glad you like it.

P.S. I found three of those FnF kits at RS in Vegas this weekend. They also had two German Imports and Amercas Favorites kits. I bought every one they had left.
