chelboed..ours are very similar.
unfortunatly i dont have mph..no treadmil
4 cell 1/43 viper..definitly the fastest thing i have.
my plan is to replace the 4 100mA with 4 of those 150mA's that register 1.32 volts each. traction is a mega issue. it's a carpet only racer now.
slightly slower is a bit pcb in a zip chassis 3 cell in a clone
red motor(not sure of rpm but it's faster than the pink 3.8 with 3 cells) instant tq. i love this car.
just as fast..but less tq off the line is a 2 cell in the belly motor works with a motor works motor with bit auqa gears. i was very
surprised by the speed of this car. im currently extending the chassis and going with 3 cells and a very light resin body(stridex's supra) i think it might end up faster than the viper.
decently quick is a new zz pcb in a dual cell bit.(it all fits nicely under the honda accord body)
and a random assortment of others.. i have a 35 mhz clone that i hate the controller..so i'll end up swapping the crystal into a zz controler and the pcb into my 4 cell zz. the 4 cell original pcb zip zap sucks.
