The tube idea sounds good. I've been using zip tie tips to hold in the rear axels. Sorry payaso, I kinda led this off topic, this is my last post in this thread.

The rims come with a set of slicks that are nice and grippy...

If people don't mind buying a modded clone, than that's what I'll do, but for some reason I think they will sell better or have a better attraction if they are original Tomy products..

I'll have to do a little more checking, and I might put one of my cars on ebay just to see if there's market outside of our little group...

I'll keep you guys up to date...

Thanks for the props on the Skyline... I built that car for CaboWabo to race with. I don't have any idea why he's run it through fire... He's loco

You don't think that I'd better results starting it at .01 a penny?

It works well sometimes..

This thread was just a test, so if it goes off topic that's OK...
If there's enough interest in these cars, the topic will hold its own and prevail...lol

Sorry Payaso, I was actually just responding to Hogjowlz cheap shot at your mom there... thanks for your patience though, I think that was the third time I asked the gear question.

Well let's see the things a bit closer because all prices heard are far lower than the real value!

*The rims have a street value of 15 US in Europe(and almost unfindable in the US)
*A bit body costs around 3-4 US
*A regular bit kit costs around 25-30 US and a booster around 40(or even more?)

So we mean it costs top him around 60 US or more just costs!

But the wheel mod, done correctly front and rear is one of the most difficult mods! And having a wroking bit with wide wheels on cost(and worths) far more...(to my opinion 10 Us is low for that mod...)
Plus a good paintjob without even clculating paint and materials used could worth easily 10 US...

To that add the fact that you have a bit that's is unque and you can see that's payaso work is not only clean but looks stock!
So you pay 100 US for a 1500 pieces bit...why you want 40 or 50 for 1piece only bit???

Anyway my opinion is that you should ask no less than 60 US(but I think that for that you'll have no profit...don't even worth it!) but what I would do is a limited number of pieces with your best paintjobs and your great mods and sell them on ebay! You'll get far more than you may think!(If you advertise them correct and post it to the main RC sites)

Sorry to say something like that but been customizing some years now I'm tired seeing someone's custom job being underestimated!

Sorry for the extra big post...
