should have gave a few more details!!
I had seen the pix and read that post on the other site, I actually started the thread about RS jumpin on the bandwagon, I should have specified "besides the info on the other site". Apologies in advance, I was just trying here to see if I could get any other info from someone not on the other site who may know something. One can only speculate it would have a micro b type motor due to the size, so more than likely, they would be compatible. From there, we'll have to see. I live in a small town and the RS guys said their stock won't be huge, plus the manager there I found out so he said is going to buy one of each when they get them, so who knows what will be left!!!! But this time in a couple weeks, all our questions shall be answered!

This is getting strange. I kind of like the base-controller transmitter. Helps in both storing and display. Like a pod car. But the other photos looks like a std bit controller. Well just four control button, on/off and a std antenna.
Be intersting when they arrive to see how this will be done!

I've had one of those for about three weeks now... they are coming out with the entire Fast and te Furious line as well ...te Supra, te Eclipse, and the RX-7...even the black Civic...

Hey, couple questions, where did you get yours at? And if you got pix, share with all of us who can't wait to see...and tell us a bit about them, compared to a bit....like, steering and performance, run times, tell us all the good stuff to make us wanna go get one more than we already do!!! Bodies compatible with bits, any other parts compatible, and how do the hot swap rims work? Blah blah blah...you get where I am coming from!! ;o)

Zipzaps on monday!!!!!!
Just got back from my local RS. My manager friend said he's getting 9 cars, 2 fast & furiuos double body sets, regular f & f set, and a few tune up parts. He showed me the invoice that shows delivery on monday, that the shipment will come in. Showed him a bit, said the motor mount/heat sink screws in, and the wheelbase is longer, hence the less cartoonish bodies, and the controller is a bit smaller than a bit he said. Motors look identical as he can remember(seen them at a district meeting last week). RS claims 10-15 feet indoor reception with a whopping 1" long copper core antenna....thought about things tomy didn't!!! The fast and furious 2 body tune up set comes with the replica green eclipse body and I think the orange supra replica, along with all the other goodies. I am getting 1 each frequency of the cruiser, and the double fast and furiuos tune up box. I will post pix monday night...after I get back from lame @ss jury duty in which I am trying to get out of!!! So you guys might just want to check the local RS and see what crack-a-lackin'. Just thought I would share what I found out, cos apparently they are shipping a week earlier.

If you are talking about who manufactures them, I believe someone for RS. If you are talking about RS.com not having anything, or anything coming up on the web, beats me, alls I know is the sheet I saw a couple weeks ago in RS was a xmas flyer with all the parts and sets listed and the invoice I seen today was showing them as in store monday. Try searching 600-7001 as that is the first sku of car series, 7002, 7003, 7004 and so on, are the numbers.
