1. What car did you get the oem motor from?
2. Was that 3.8 the perfection motor?
I also think you must have one of the older pcbs the newer revisions 180 on a turn with a 1.6 in there.

No it wasn't a 3.8. Don't know what OEM it is because my friend gave it to me after he slaughtered a clone for a school project. I'm pretty sure it's a new pcb because I got it 3 weeks ago.

I got 3 more of the perfection 3.8s today and I can't stress enough how great this motor is. If you have a newer zip (with the revised pcb) this motor is a must.
