Detail might be alright....it's just that lexan isn't my favorite
I'd rather have one of Stridex's beautiful resin molds.

youd be shocked at the kinda detail you can get out of lexan...it all depends ont he thickness of the lexan, and the power of the vaccum. i have got some amazing results, window trim, door frames, door handles, gas caps.... its all a mater of how its done. unfortnately most of the ones on the market are production line driven.. so less detail is atained.. if you have a machine of your own, get a heat gun and hit the body with it when its already on the mold and flip on the vac... if youve made the necessary mods to your mold you could even get a mesh grill to come out looking like a million bucks... provided your not using super thick plastic... .010 gives great results. and the .007 gives even better results but is a bit thinner.. not as durable.. i have made a number of .020 bodys which you can pretty much stomp on with out hurting.. lets see you try that with your resin body..
granted resin bodys do have their advantages.. i like which ever type i can get the body that i want
