BTW. Toyeast is also on Ebay, the motors are going for $4.50 + $3.50 shipping! I ordered me one just to run it by my homemade tach! The motors are also $4.50 at their site but I don't know how much they charge for shipping there!
NOW why can't Tiny compete with those prices? he is on the states so he can save on shipping!

I don't think tiny is based in hong kong and i'm pretty sure toyeast gets a much better price seeing as they are a larger distributor. I would like to see tiny get some of the alloy rims in though

If the most a ZZ can handle is a 2.6, would there be any difference between a 3.8 and a 3.0 motor in it? The ZZ would putting out the maximum amount of power so both motors should be going at the same speed because they are getting the same amount of voltage.

Actually the newer zips (revised boards) can handle alot more than a 2.6. I have no trouble spining a 3.0 or 3.8 (bitchar-g motors) in the newer cars. I just don't get the same speeds out of them, I'm thinking because of the contact on the motor and the size of the motor. This perfection motor out runs a bit with a 3.0 in it. The zips often times seem slower because they hold on to the road better than a bit with it's spinning rear. I don't know if it's the wheel base or the full size wheels front and back, but I've found that at higher speeds the zips handle worlds better.

Well, If you put a motor with a higher rating than what the board can handle the board will not output the necessary amps to move it so a 3.8 might not even work! I will be using my 3.8 with a transistor switch so I don't have that problem, also like sessiz10
says newer boards are better so they might move a 3.8

I haven't really noticed much of a drop on runtime using this motor. I double charge my stock zip on the controller and I get a good 5 or 6 mins of runtime.

Will double charging them decrease the life of the battery?

I don't think it will weaken the battery. The ZipZap battery is 100mah. That's double the MicroSizer one. They are both getting 3v charged to them for 45 seconds. 100 mah should be able to handle 2-3 charges.

Finally got the toyeast motor, It doesn't work as well on a "First Generation Zip" I had to push start the Zip to make it go! the Bit was much better and looked speedy, I'll have to put the motor thru the tach as soon as I get a chance!

I have a yellow OEM motor and it goes faster in my Zip than my 3.8 in my zip. It's the other way around though in a BCG. Don't know why, but this unknown motor is fast enough for my Zip to spin out. I was like wow because Zips are too slow to spin out.
