LXX Auto modellestela booster problems/ steering

I got a LXX Auto modellestela booster car with a nice supra body and a clear skyline body the car was 2 speed so I thought the quality would be good I love the car but the steering sucks it doesent turn sometimes others the wheels will stick to the side. there is no rub I took it apart and all the wires are fine It sometimes steers ok and the steering insides look great
The spring seems fine but the wheels dont center all the time after the turn is reliesed
anyone know whats wrong or think they can help me.
please its soo cool it it were not for the steering it would be an amazing car
I also have other cars that could be used to help it (but i wont unless i have too)

I have a LXX MODELLISTA OK SO FAR!

2 Solutions-

1.If u have a Tomy chassis, the best chassis there is, they always steer wel, then u could transplant the pcb into this. ONLY if you are good at soldering, i mean very good.

2.Fix it.--

I would open up the steering compartment, have a good look,

-is the steering spring ok?
-are both the steering spring legs in their slots?
-do the spring legs easily come out of their slots?
-is the magnet securely glued in?
MAKE SURE THAT THE MAGNET IS NOT TURNED AROUND
IF u do find it is loose, it would be a good idea to mark one side of the magnet with a pen, so you know which side it originally was on.

-is the white tab on the bottom of the car for correcting the steering loose? it could be moving on its own.

-when the car is assembled, and the steering goes to one side, has the steering knuckle slipped out of the plastic T peice thing?

-make sure the steering wires are not touching the pcb where they shouldn't be.

-I cant think of ne thing else at the mo!

-when it happens, carefully open up the steering and have a good look to see if ne thing looks wrong.

Transplant the PCB into a Tomy chassis.
