DUH! Bit-Chargs are slow and if they had 5 turns it would prolly burn da motor up... But this is only from my 1/10 R/C idea... Cuz they usually have 27 turns and it goes way faster than a Bit-Charg, therefore i was guess the Bit Motor has more turns. Well you also have to consider da size of it... But I'll stay with my guess of 50 or more.

...but I've just begun...
First I would just like to state that I have a 3.8 motor. Very nice! Pick up speed is slow (compaired to a 2.6 which was my original motor) but "top speed" is incredible. Yes it's true about the 7.0 motor... kinda. I hear there is actually a 7.8 motor out. Crazy eh? But the highest one i could find was the 3.8 . Anyhoo... Imma be heading off to my local HobbyShop soon to pick up a Tomy Remote Controller... which i hear IS so much better then then original. After reading almost everyones replies, I'm still kind confused about the boost thing... someone wanna help me out? Explain it to me like I'm a 5 year old. I wanna be able to extend my rang without heavy mods like http://questformadness.com/ shows. I hear the range for one fo the controllers is like 30-40'. Finally i would like to know if replacing the bettery (for longer time run) will improve my proformance? prob not right? Anyways... I await to hear all your output! Bye!

Arrive2Defy, welcome to the Forums! The booster is a replacement chassis, which runs at a lower speed than a normal BC-G, but then at a higher speed when you hit boost. It requires the 4-channel Tx. As far as range, there are a number of ways to get more, but they all require some mods. You can increase the Rx reception by unknotting the antenna and putting it through the front of the car. You can remove the cripple cap if your Tx has it. Or you can replace your antenna. All of these are somewhat involved, but that's the price you pay for increased reception I'm afraid!

Not many LHSs stock BC-G parts, let alone special parts like batteries etc.

Please tell me how you´ve timed your charging time.
Sounds very intersting...

I have both 1.0 and 2.2 motors
so, the 1.0 will give a runtime of 5-10 minutes
and the 2.2 will be around 2-4 minutes
I haven't tried the higher motors yet
The charging time is said to be 45 seconds, but i timed it to be 1min 6 secs
