And here is a sneakpeak of the 206 I'm working on...It's not finished so don't expect too much

I like that Nissan Skyline! I think the 206 needs a new paint job for it to look good.

Ooohhhh, I can't wait to see the finished 206! You've done a nice job of detailing a crappy clone body so far

Yes, he has done a good job on both. He really should sell both for some $$.

The pug is a clone I'd had no problem to sell it but I have only one so I' sorry...
Canadian bit It already had a paintjob it just don't look good cause it's still in the works...(it's even dirty near the front light)

Looks like my Puegot!
Well, I used more sparkly/reflective metallic flake, but I put the paint on too thick. I have a second body, but I'm waiting until I get my painting technique down. Then I'll either paint the other one metal blue, maybe metal red, or possibly silver.
I really like that Peugot body a lot though. I think I might be more into it than any of the standard Tomy bodies. I was tempted to try to cut out the windows and put in clear plastic (maybe from a water bottle or something) but it seemed like too much work just to be able to see the PCB and the antenna underneath.

Well I have Blue paint with metal flakes but I have a specific paintjob in mind for the pug...
Anyway yes I also love the body...As standard sucks but off the decals and some paint and it looks superb!
P.S:I have no prob with the paint and I used spraycan paint for it...So just try it again!
IF you need any kind of hint just post...

Oh cool, the paint looked more flat in the image.
I think the problem was just that I laid the paint on too thick. With a brush, I used Hobbico Master Mask to cover the windows, and when I was finished with the paint and clear coat, the master mask really didn't want to peel off. It would come off really unevenly, and then just pull up paint nearby with it. So the lines along the edges of the windows got totally screwed up. Argh.
It happened with two other bodies, so I may have to attempt this pine-sol removal I hear about. I dunno what the issue is, but I'm *assuming* it was just that the paint went on too thick. I could try using tape on the windows, but I have a feeling it wouldn't mask that well.
At this point I'm tempted to spray the whole car down and just paint the windows black again on top of it. Grrr. So frustrating!

Well here is the answer to what you need!
You need 3 simple things that will be useful for most hobbies:
1 exacto knife
1 masking tape (I like and use Tamyia's tape)
1 Spray Can
Stick the tape well, rub it all over the edges, then go with the knife through the lines you want to cut, remove excess tape, spray one good layer(not too thick),let it dry for a day, spray second layer, let it dry...
You are done!
(What I also suggest is Clear coat in the end and primer before paint but if money is an issue don't care about them...)
Never dry mask nor paint with a brush!
Brush only for detailing!
