stupid F*%#@! stabilizer bar

I just started ahving probs w/one of my MSers. It started running crazy. Turning left/right for no reason. I figured time to do a little claening. Took the front end apart cleaned all the hair and fuzz out looked for anything stuck to the magnet and put her back 2gther. Charged her up 2x's and proceeded to rip it up. My problem was not solved. I ran it hoping to magically work the kink out. No dice. I had an idea about removing the stabilizer bar, and it fixed my steering prob. Now the onlyh problem is that it steers really slow and deliberate. Before, I could turn on a dime either left or right. Also, when I hit the cracks in my tile floor my car flies up in the air and usually turns over. Anybody have any problems w/their stabilizer bar? What can I do to solve my problem? All sugestions are greatly appreciated!

Go here and get a set of suspension springs. http://www.questformadness.com/

They really do help, and you can do away with that pesky stabius bar...

Thanks! I've got some springs and was planning on doing that mod sometime. I guess that sometime is now. I really wish I had some of those Tyco springs hogjowlz was refering to. I read his post on them and how they don't needto be cut or anything. Unfortunately, I can't get them right now, cuz I live in Germany and have been unsuccessful in my hunts. I have even been looking for those cool wheels we have all seen on the Microsizers.de site and still no luck. I can't even find a hobby shop that sells R/C cars stuff. Oh well. Thanks again payaso and hogjowlz!

How can the stabilizer bar cause the car to turn for no reason? I don't doubt that it did, since that problem went away when you removed the bar, but I don't understand how it could do that.

Beats the helloutta me! I just know that when it was on the chassis, steering sucked, and when it wasn't, steering was fine. No worries though, I just did the spring suspension mod, and all is good now. Steering is still not as sharp as I would like it, but we can't always get what we want. On another note, I just found a LHS here that sells MSers. When I get a chance I'll seek this place out (right now its almost 1am) and hopefully score some of those killer aftermarket wheels we're all drooling over. I keep the Forum posted of my discovery!
