oh, cool...
i was at london drugs today...i wuz lookin' for some parts for my Bit Char-G. all they had were 2 1.0 motors, nothin else. kind of made me mad since here in red deer i don't have a clue at all where i can get parts. i know walmart most likely doesn't sell parts, probably not even bits. i was also at toys r us, they had cheapy little 10 dollar micro rcs...i figured bein a toy store thay would atleast have something relating to micro rcs. or popular ones atleast...does ne body know where i can get parts in red deer alberta???

aeas87 - what i would do is look in ur local whitepages and see what hobby shops you've got around you, and then go phone and ask if they carry parts for bit char g's micros....etc. and if they do, just simple go check the place out.
yea...this site needs a chatroom.....got msn? haha we can have a big chat.

fullsize wheel set:
once you have the front apart and the front wheels off the chassis you need to seperate the front wheels from the white peice. First drill a small hole in a peice of wood or an old phonebook or something. This will be used so that the pin can push through the wheel. Place the wheel over the hold int he peice of wood with the white piece facing up. Next make sure the pin is lined up to be pushed into the hole in the wood. Place the nail on the pin (on the white plastic peice side) and then gently hit it with a hammer. It will eventually come out. The pin will probably have bent so you need to straighten it with pliers. Next rip the rear axle set apart so you just have the wheels. You have to pry the gear off the wheel gently using a screwdriver between the teeth of the gear and the rim. It WILL come off but use patience. Drill a hole in the center of the back wheels now. It need to be JUSt bigger than the front wheel pin. Put your new rear wheels where the front ones were and hammer the straightened pin back in. Make sure you don't push it in too much or your front wheels won't be able to spin. Making sure everything is good, place a drop of glue on the white plastic side of the wheels to set the pin in place. YOUR DONE!
Put it back together and now you have a fullsize wheel set.
I've taken my front ones apart but not put larger ones on (not counting my monster truck) becuase i am not sur how it will impact the steering of the bit.

aeas87 - best place to get things in Red Deer has to be Walmart and Zellers. Zellers has KIT Racers (2.2 or 2.6 engines, better tires, batts, etc..) for like $10. Walmart has clones for a measily $20! I'm headed to the mall soon to get a few things, Zellers is definitly a stop! All the other stores I've been to (London Drugs, Toys R Us, etc..) all SUCK. Don't even check any of the hobby shops around town like Choo Choo Willies, they just plain suck also! HTH
Edit- Damn is this thread growing hella fast!

IRC this is reduculous
Alright, heh this is insane, this thread is growing WAY to fast, (not thats (also not a bad thing)
I propose we put up an IRC channel that we can all chat on.. (assuming everyone knows what irc is) program in called mIRC
www.mirc.com to download a regular version of it..... connect to a random Efnet server (cause I like efnet, lol) and join channel #AMC
its live chat, you can see whos online, and we can keep the forum just for more modding and Bit related discussions.......
just a thought (I'm there now)

Welll...from 7pm to about now. I've been working on my own track, first step to making ANY track,.....so out and get some gardener knee pads.....ohhhhh....my knees are killing me right now.. >__< Anyways. this consisted SO far of 22 tiles and 2 large wood boards that i found in my garage.
Of course 22 tiles isnt enough..cuz i'm still working on it but here's what it looks like so far.
Edit:
For some reason my digital cam isnt working properly, so whats in this picture is only 1 out of 2 that i made.
