I'd put the blue gears, the highest motor, and soft tires on back and hard slippy ones on front. The blue gears makes up for the torque loss on the motor (i've seen a test where the blue gears went faster than the teal gears with a 3.8!), the sort tires on back give you grip for speed, and the slippy tires in front slide so you don't flip when you try to turn, but having slippy fronts totally kills the steering, but since you're drag racing, you're mostly going straight, and the little steering you'll have will be good enough to correct yourself.
