What is the best pcb swap?

i am soldering in new wires and 3 tomy batteries. they all fit well under the pcb. im using 22g wire for everything including the antenna. i was just at RS today and saw the 2 new cars and then got home and read your post about them being faster, kinda wish that id bought one now. maybe ill get one tomorrow or something. well hope my ZZ ends up fast.

ps i also made the custom charger.

Here is a pic of the stand-alone charger stand that I made for my (2) cell ZipZap today. Once I had the parts, it took an hour to construct.





I used a multi-voltage 300 mah A/C adapter ,with multiple plugs, that I got from Target ($11.99), a Radio Shack 2"x3" project box ($1.99), a Radio Shack 1/8" phone jack #274-248 (2 for $1.99). Plus, a charging pad off one of my extra clone controllers.

I charge my (2) cell ZZ for 5 min, but if my calculations are correct I should be able to go 10 min on my (2) 50 mah batteries at 3v @ 300mah to completely charge my batteries.

Cheap and effective, with readily available components!
