2001 Camaro Z28 LS1. Conservatively rated at 310 H.P., and it still gets 20+ MPG! Mustang owners fear me and ricers usually just back off. Gotta love those F-bodies! Hopefully, GM will have a replacement ready around the time this one is paid off!

Bah, stupid ricers Cars look nice tho.
1966 Mustang Fastback w/Shelby 500 front suspension. Needs a restoration. Cant decide weather to put a 289 or a 302 HiPo.
jei$, where the heck did you get a 6 barrel??? I work at a junkyard and have NEVER seen one
I also got a 79 Malibu Wagon w/ a 396 ci engine w/ Edelbrock Performer series manifold, predator 4bbl carb, and other performance mods. Can you say "sleeper"
The other cars arent worth mentioning...except for my 74 Corvette Stingray..all stock Got it from my dad

A 6bbl set up right will get better milage than a 4bbl but you just can't beat a big 4bbl for brut power. revving and torgue is where the 6bbl comes in. I had a 289 HiPo in a '65 stang. It had both on it. The 6bbl set up right is far better for the street.
At least there is one or two of you out there with a car to be proud of. 16.3 and 15.9? down the 1/4. You guys in your toy coffins make me laugh. My 7K pound truck has pulled 14.96 down the 1/4 and pulled 68k pounds down the 300'. Thats with propane and nitrous. Piss me off and beat me and I'll just add more nitrous. You can't lean out a DEISEL!! And when some punk can't drive and hits me, my family will be safe. By the way, all that is with only SIX cilynders!! Thank you mister Cummins.
You all have fun now and keep the racing on the track.....no mater what scale it is!

Its a real riot when a knowledgible passenger just kind of looks at you like.....Is that what I think it is, it can't be!!! I may have to get rid of the seat belts and put in racing harness.
Seriously...without the propane or nitrous it is a bear to drive in the rain. I usually skip third gear. The tires just spin. Freeway on ramps in fourth gear are a real joy!!
You should have seen the look on the guy's face when I passed his Porsche. I had my camper on and my 20' cabin cuddy in tow. A really steep pass and you see the altitude was affecting his car. I thought he was going to cry at the top of the hill when we both pulled over at the park.

Diesels are fun....
Speaking of nitrous and diesels, and such...there's also no limit (well...at least until you start breaking things) to how much boost you can throw at it. And boost IS very nice stuff dor tooling around mountains.
My Caprice will run in th 14.7 bracket or thereabouts at sea level, but at Bandimere...well I don't care to post what it'll run. And when I get to 12,000 feet on Trail Ridge Road...let's just say a beefy LT1 feels about like a 4-banger...I really do need to get some boost into this thing for tooling around the highlands around here! He he he...
Beating the Porsche would've been fun to see. Kind of like when my "Grandpa-mobile" took out a third gen F-body Z-28 one night. That was a fun race, too. We were pretty close through 1st and 2nd, but when I made the shift to third, the better flowing manifold, and better injection on the LT1 ~vs~ the TPI pushed me ahead. That was a fun look on that guys face! He he he....

Lois the mustang goddess
This is a pic of me in my 93 stang Lois.
She has the following:
3:73 gear
Hooker headers (shorties) and duals with no mufflers
Moroso cold air intake
Pro 5.0 power tower (its a shifter)
BBK K-member brace
BBK subframe connecters
Auto meter shift light (w/ a 5500 rpm pill)
JVC 12 disk Cd changer, and head unit
and lastly SUPERMAN floormats.
Here is an action shot.
BTW she runs 13s on street tires.
