Ok i fixed the steering. now i gotta get the motor part working. woo i'm excited. looks like i'll be able to salvage this bit.
*edit* in the process i came up with an idea. i was looking for wires and i found some old mother boards. so i unsoldered the jumper pins and stuck those on my pcb in some spots. now i can just slide on and off the wires like the jumpers in a comp.
