question for those who've done dual cell mod

Ok for those who've done the internal dual cell mod. How many bits did you destroy before getting it right?

I think i've just about destroyed mine. i can get the batteries to fit no problem and i've worked out where to put the everything, but it's the stupid little hair wires! They are driving me nuts!!!! I'm being insanely careful with them and twice now just as i finish the stupid mod, i notice the same one has broken again! It's like it's waiting for me to finish then decides to pop off. aaahhhh!!!!

what type of wires are you guys using to connect everything. i'm having a hell of a time getting everything just right.

one more try with this one and then it's no more messing with bits for me.

got it right on my first try.

Those steering wires are fragile as i'm sure you know by now. When you reattach one make sure you strip of the enamel coating before resoldering it to the PCB.

I know if you wire the batteries in series you get double the voltage and if you wire them in parallel you get double the mAH, i.e. longer run time but no power increase.

Can somebody show me a diagram of how to wire the batteries in parallel or provide a link to a site the shows how? All the places i've seen only show how to wire the batteries in series.

instead of connecting positive to negative you connect positive to positive and negative ti negative and solder a bridge across them, then use the negative like one side and th epositive like the other side.. wouldn treccomend it tho, u may get longer runtimes, but the extra wieght would slow you down big time.

remember stock cars (at least clones) weigh about 21grams.
dual cell cars weigh 24 or 25 grams. if you ad that weight with no extra power your car will be slow.
