Epoch CLONE???
Check these out guys.
They are called DG Master, rcmart calls it a THINK HAPPY.
They claim to be 1/45th scale and digitally proportional. They have headlights, tailights, and turn signals. Run on 40mhz and 27mhz, with different bands of those frequencies.

What makes DG Master different from other small size R/C car? There is a new technology use in that car called "WAVECODER". Because of the WAVECODER technology, although there are two frequencies only, each frequency has three bands. So maximum 6 cars can run at the same time. DG Master's selling point is its lighting system. It is very exciting! You can switch on/off the car light by yourself. It make you feel as driving a real car. The car also contain simple but effective damper system. That design can improve the car's cornering performance and can run on uneven road. Do you worry about the car's running time will be too short? The package included a charger, charge 1 minute can run about 7 minutes!

on another forum, they are proportional and are cheap. They are just like the radioshack clones (although I'm not too sure about the diff). the radioshack ones are a bit faster than the stock spec 2's, and have the turn signals etc. that's all that I know

I have one and they are the exact same as the Radio Shack cars.The speed is good but it has no diff and the steering is so slow it's almost undrivable.

I love my epoch Spec1, but i thought this was cool

I would skip it. I just sold one I had for $20. To bad the car has no diff and such bad steering. The rear suspention is also not to great. The Spec 2 is a winner. I also just did the 4cell mod to my Spec 1 and if flys! IM now trying to mod the rear suspension to soften it up a bit.

ebay win 1/43rd calsonic skyline!!
just won this off ebay, this is to go with my other 1/43rd's. now i have a spec 2 wrx rally car/ i have spec 1 speed racer converted into legacy body/ also viper clone converted from the viper body to the spec 2 integra body with modded lights from viper body, and last but not least the calsonic skyline, so now i can run the wrx and legacy together, and the integra and skyline together, prior to this i could not any other car with the integra due to radio interference. anyone else had this prob?? Epoch out!!

I would say IRC knows his stuff. if he says do not buy, i wouldn't, unless it was super cheap.
