lol! bike! are you familiar with the LRT? im sooo not.. all i know is that it gets down to the university, in which case i can prolly pick you up or something...
toys R us really blows... well i THINK it does... i didnt look for bits, microsizers, or any clones... all i did find was the KIT racers... for 18 freakin bucks... waaaayyyyy too much for a battery, a gear, and a 2.6... i hear their 2.6 rocks, but im not too sure i want another one... i already have my stock 1.0, a microsizer 2.6 that i might exchange later on just to see if i can get a faster one, and a 3.0 (with the same problems as everyones)
if im getting a new motor, im gonna order from either here or bitmod... they make some seriously crazy 3.5s i hear... how fast is your clone?... like, crawling, or just a blur on the ground?
heh the intercooler can be stuck on with any regular glue.. the white school glue stuff is good cuz it turns transparent.. if you have crazy glue it's good... my intercooler looks pretty decent, but it falls off sometimes if i smoke my bit into a wall
hehe! i gotta borrow ur digicam or something ..., i just tinted my windows blood red... looks mean

Too bad, I'm not in Edminton, I'm in Toronto. I also have a Zip Zap.

Pie, maybe do the LRT thing, when the weather gets warmer....its sooooooo cold right now. and is it alright if i probably bring a friend that has a bit? because he'll have a different frequency and im not sure if im planning to buy another clone...no money!
so the KIT racers are just parts? what is a decent price for a KIT racer? And will the KIT racer parts fit on clones? probably not eh?
im pretty sure a lot of people talked about this before, but how do you make a crome exhaust?

We are from Saskatchewan and we specialize in wholesaling bits to retailers in Canada. Every week we are getting them into more and more stores. On our website we will soon post a list off all the stores we supply with Japanese toys so they are easier to locate for you. Our new website should be up in 3 weeks. We are also trying to get some rc race events together throught Canada, where we could have some fun competitions and give away prizes etc. Contact me if you interested in doing this at preston@minime-rc.com also if you are looking for bits we sell them on our website. we sell internationally but our prices are in Canadian dollars.

heyy, what's up everyone?! i just had my english midterm today... freakin ate me alive ><"
ANYWAY first things first...
kech, welcome to the boards! i see we're gettin more and more e-town pple... mebbe we can even start a little league of sorts... where did you get ur set? and you can MAYBE ask them for an exchange or something... hmmm it prolly IS the motor... try cycling it... (take off the axle and idle gear (the colored one) and let the motor go for a full charge... see if it speeds up... if not, well you could always get a new motor... there are no 2 speeds, it's the circuitry thing and the boost button on your controller that makes the second speed... my recommendation would be go to "kites and other delights" in WEM... they'll fully refund you if you tell them your motor doesnt work, so buy one, test it, and if ur not happy send it back!
heh, Ralliart, damn straight it's cold.... it's frickin Freezing!! sure... well im not sure if you guys wanna come to my house... this may seem like an odd question, but are you guys the type of asian guy with long white/red/yellow bangs and look liek you kill people for a living? cuz if so, my mom mite not be so thrilled to have you guys in the house... heh i wouldnt mind, but she's the traditional strict asian parent...
k, KIT racers are... weird. they're the same thing (ish) as bits, but they run on a rail thing... basically if you buy one, it's for the genuine tomy motor and battery, some funky gears (i dont know the ratios), and an axle/tires, and MAYBE the body.. i havent tried.. in fact, im not sure what parts of anything fit in clones... i think custom mods would be the best bet for clones... (rare earth magnet steering, dual cell mods etc) oh the KIT racers SHOULD be $7-10$ through direct currency conversion, but they retail for 18....
the exhaust, (dont do it this way if you dont have a bunch of extras) i used an AC/DC plug (round with colored plastic inside) and smashed it until everyhting came out, and took the shiny metal tube...it's a rice-boy's muffler, cuz it's huge... well not HUGE but looks ricey... (there's a ton of other ways... search this forum..) the tint can be done with a permanent marker.. but make SURE you have rubbing alchohol... or else you wont be able to get the marker off... color the inside of the body so it looks shiny from the outside, but it cant be erased easily without making the plastic kinda blurry...
(with clones, im not sure b/c the plastic might be non-see through... my real bit has clear windows...)
tell you what... my dad brought home some MADNESS colored film/tape 2day... he was like "stop spazzing out when you cant color rite... so here..." and i already worked my ass off on the tint, so im usin it for decals... it looks pretty nice cuz it's shiny... you can use some of it... cuz there's a ton... if not then just paint with clear-ish paint!
omg i cant believe i wrote so much... Kech, ralliart, i hope i helped!
Oh, and C_CRX, any new info on the batts, magnets? i really appreciate your efforts!
