if not could i use a 2.4V/650mAH Ni-Cd Battery or a 1.2V/130mAh/Ni-Cd Battery 1/3 AA or a 1.2V/250mAh/Ni-Cd Battery. Wich would work better and give me the most power but wouldnt burn my zip zap up?
I dont think the mah is a factor it repreasents what a battery can hold
the higher the mah the longer the runtime
now for the volts i have heard that a zip pcb can handle up to 9 volts
but i would not recomend this i run two1.2 volt 150 mah batts
in series and that is about as fast as i would want to go
cars constantly flipping is no fun
so i would go with the 2.4 and see how that does or order some cells off
the net and just do a regular dual mod
oh yea where are you in ohio i live in cincinnati
It would take like 15 or 20 minutes to charge your car between runs, that seems kinda stupid. You have no need whatsoever for that much capacity. You would pretty much get 3 runs out of your controller batteries before needing to replace them. And since I doubt you'd run it down every time, most of the energy would be wasted as your car runs out its charge sitting on the desk after you're done with it.
