seperate battery charger,
hey guys,
i made a seperate battery charger for my car, all i did was take the charger off the remote and solder the wires to a battery pack.
but the problem is that the batteries get hot really quickly when i'm charging the car.
does anyone know why?? and is there any way that i can fix this???
or have any suggestions on how to improve the design?

I'm no expert, but the fact that you're using 4-cells instead of 2 (in the controller) might be part of the problem with Heat.
I also have a Charger Mod on my webpage, that uses A/C power, if you want to give that a go.
In the Modifications page.
Good luck.

Also, put some tape around those wires so you don't short it
