DTM wheels for the DRR?
Are the foam wheels for the DTM cars the same width and all as the Rocket Racer? Are the ways the wheels mount the same?

I use DTM SP rims on my DRR. They mount the same -- however, the SP uses flanged bearings up front, where the DRR uses non-flanged. So you'll need 4 3x6 flanged bearings.
They're the same width. I have a set of the type-c rims I dyed black -- they look much nicer than the stock ones IMO.

flanged vs. unflanged
Do you know of any difference in flanged v. unflanged? I have found the front RR wheels spin something terrible- very little spin and abrupt stopping.

One has a flange, one doesn't have a flange?
You can use unflanged bearings, but there's nothing holding them in to the wheel but friction. Corner hard, and its possible the wheel will fly off, leaving a pair of unflanged bearings screwed on to the axle, while your now bearingless wheel goes rolling off. Its possible it'll be fine. I don't know -- I had the proper bearings, so I used them.
As for them spinning poorly, if you're using bushings, that's the problem. If its the bearings, make sure the bearing seats are clean, and the bearings are pressed in well. The outer screw is probably pressing too tightly against the outer bearing, causing it to bind. I had to take a file to the inner portion of one of my axles to make it a little less tight, while still allowing me to put the bolt in tight enough to not spin loose.

How about the tires? I would like to get some aluminum wheels made for the DRR and put some DTM foams on them. Can I do that? Are the tires compatable?

The Aktiv wheels and tires fit but you will have to shave the none gear side rim hub a little for the correct width.

ok, here is what I would realy like to know.
If I buy the aluminum wheels for the DRR can I buy a set of foams for the DTM that I can just glue onto the wheels and go. If the foams are larger in width thats no problem.

If you are talking about the ABC DTM SP the tires fit with no problem. If your talking about the DTM+4 the fronts will be a little wide.
